Savor With Sam: Introducing Ace’s Signature Whiskey + New Menu Items
This edition’s savory tid bit is all about our partnering with Old Elk Distillery. Old Elk graciously hosted our Team to hand select a barrel of bourbon that can exclusively be found at Ace Gillett’s, Ace Café, and The Armstrong Hotel. Nothing goes better with a glass of whiskey than a good laugh, and the crew learned just how silly the words can be in the world of distilling. They learned stills can puke, pockets can jangle with copper dogs, and thumpers can burble. With maturity and grace, our Team finally made their decision on which bourbon to call our own! This was no easy task as there were so many great options to choose from.
On Wednesday, June 8th, we will have our launch party to debut this grand collaboration! During this time, guests will have their first chance to sample this one-of-a-kind bourbon or purchase a bottle complete with our very own logo and personalization. We hope you join us in this opportunity to take a piece of our history home with you.
Fortunately, the history doesn’t stop there! When all the bourbon is poured from our barrel, we will then partner with WeldWerks. This beloved local brewery will then use our Old Elk barrel to produce a signature barrel-aged beer for us. As you can see, we take our libations seriously and hope you join us soon to see what the house can create for you! We are sure this hand-picked favorite will be ACES across the board!
